Birth control

So I have the in plant in my arm and I've been having weird periods and horrible cramps. I only get my period like once every 3 months. I get it taken out in July and I was just wondering what you guys have experienced while on this. I get married in June and kind of want to get it out before the wedding so we can start trying to get pregnant a few months after the wedding.
