helpppp!

So I was with my boyfriend today and my mom knows I'm sexually active but she called randomly today cause she was telling me the pictures me and my bf got taken looked great and she just out of the blue said "have you got any news for me" , "y'all are being smart and safe right?"  And so now it makes me wonder if my mom thinks I'm pregnant or something so I'm not sure if I should go get a test but I feel like she has some type of motherly instinct I'm just not sure...has this happened to any of you guys or a similar situation and you ended up being pregnant?
