Should I wait ?

My baby is a week old, can I take him out ? I mean can I go to public places with him ?

Baby will be fine, many mom's don't have the luxury to stay home till "they" say it's ok to taken them out. You have already been stuck in a hospital for a few days, and then to be stuck at home. I have two other kiddos, who have things they do during the week, dance, sports, and such. Won't have the option the stay tucked away. I would consider baby wearing, that way you don't get people trying to touch your baby but that's just me.

Yes, but I would not let anyone hold him who you do not know very well ie up to date on vaccines, etc.

You can but I wouldn't make it a regular thing as he is still so young and the weather is changing. Older people will say no with my 1st my mom made me wait a month before I took my son outside if it weren't for an appointment.  I'm on #6now and the whole month thing isn't realistic

Fresh air is good for everyone!  I don't think there's any reason to stay cooped up inside.  I wouldn't go visiting at a hospital or let loads of random people touch/kiss a newborn, but going for a walk or to do your shopping etc is good.

Yes. Bundle him up, make sure his ears and head are covered at all times. Don't let strangers touch him and don't let anyone touch him without washing their hands. And don't let people kiss him either lol
