L&D or ER?

I am having terrible pain on my left side I believe it's kidney stones and I have had them before I had to get surgery to remove them but I am 24 weeks 2 days do I got to the ER or labor and delievery? I'm just in so much pain I tried to stick it out for about 2 days but it's worse now

Typically when you're pregnant, when you go to the ER, they will send you up to labor and delivery to clear you before they'll treat you down in the ER. Call the hospital on your way and find out where you should go

I have kidney stones and my dr sends me to l&d first too make sure baby is okay  when I'm in extreme pain . And then after they establish baby is good  they send me.down too the er l&d can't do anything for kidney stones.

Thanks everyone I'll call my doctor and I'll just go to the ER and see if they will send me to L&D if not then I'll just wait in the ER to be seen I need some type of relief I have tried everything from Tylenol to drinking water and a hot shower it's just not going away

Go to L&D. You'll just have to wait in the ER to get transferred.

Call and ask ik after a certain point in pregnancy you go to L&D but every hospital is different

If you are past 24w I would go to L&D and tell them what's going on.ER isn't really for pregnant women past 24w, because how they treat you due to pregnancy is different than the average case...

I don't think L&D could/would do anything if it's kidney stones - I say go to ER

I would try ER and let it be known your pregnant and they will decide what to do for you
