Snowsuits or footmuffs for the winter?

I have a fleece bunting for my baby girl. I dread the thought of purchasing a stiff snowsuit for her to wear this winter just for her to sit around in a stroller (she is not walking yet). Snowsuits are pricey! I was able to get a 7am enfant footmuff off of craigslist for less than half the price! I plan to use the footmuff with her fleece bunting once the weather is appropriate.
