We live together so no worries ehardly ever test eachother ... before we lived together we called eachother everyday

If that's your relationship then sure if not then that's ok! Me and my husband text every day and he calls on FaceTime at lunch everyday...we have a 5 year old too so he does it to talk to her also.

As you go on in your relationship the texts die down. Yeah you talk and text all the time in the beginning, but it goes away.

I guess it depends on the context of the relationship. My boyfriend and I live together, so we always talk daily, but we generally don't text while we're apart unless there's a solid reason to. Before we lived together though, I think we talked/texted most days.

My husband texts me on all 3 of his breaks during the day. We've been together and have always txt eachother when we're away from one another. No we don't HAVE to but it's just something we have always done and is nice since we don't get much time to talk between work and kids and sports

I say only when necessary only because i talk to my bf on the phone all day everyday. So we really don't have a need to txt unless we are at work.
