Help?

This has never happened to me before, and was wondering if it has happened to any of you ladies before! My period was a week late and ever since have my son my period has finally become regular. I did not realize my period was a week late because it was my 21st birthday and it was crazy. Anyways while I was walking in food Lion I felt a gush between my legs the best way and only way I can describe it, is it felt like when my water broke with my son. All that came out was blood clots extra when I check in the bathroom, and for the next 3-4 days. So I was wondering if this could have been a miscarriage? This happened on the 21st and now looking because I was nauseous in the morning and I still am. Was wondering if this has happened to anyone else?
