All we do is eat, sleep, watch tv and have sex

Has anybody sustained a long-term, serious relationship and/or got married, when the first few months of your relationship you barely actually went on any dates? We are both tired all the time because of our jobs, we are in frequent communication via texts, and I have met his mother, and we call each other boyfriend and girlfriend, so it seems like we are serious about each other. We get along really well.
