weight loss help.

Over the past 4 months, I have been running 5 miles a week, and I started to notice that some of my favorite jeans are really tight due to muscle growth. I'm overweight for my age and I have been my whole life. My measurements are: waist-34, hips-45, butt-48, and thighs-27, calf, 18. Do y'all have any recommendations work outs I can do to not gain muscle on my legs but lose some of the weight I have on them.
