They've done this shit before and "the statistics show that applicants actually test positive at a lower rate than the drug use of the general population. The national drug use rate is 9.4 percent. In these states, however, the rate of positive drug tests to total welfare applicants ranges from 0.002 percent to 8.3 percent, but all except one have a rate below 1 percent. Meanwhile, they’ve collectively spent nearly $1 million on the effort, and millions more may have to be spent in coming years."
Waste of tax payers money. 99.9% of people who need welfare can't afford drugs in the first place when all of their money goes to bills and food.🙄

I know people who are on welfare and abuse the system, but I also know people who have it and need it. I'm kind of stuck with this question because they tried in in my state and very few people tested had any kind of drug in their system, so they declared it a waste and said it was pointless. Initially, they should be I think. And then maybe a random test every so often.
