Thankful for my hubs
He tries. Lord knows I can think of a million more things for him to do but the things I ask, he mostly does. He loves baby, is good with her, and is starting to help feed her pumped milk in bottles. When she has been fussing and crying for too long I can hand her to him and sometimes he is the magic touch to quiet her and get her into the crib. When I cry he sits with me and asks me what's wrong. He's a soldier so I am thankful he is here to help me rather than deployed or in the field. Sometimes I get frustrated thinking he isn't doing enough. I imagine other husbands feeding babies all night and cooking dinners every night and moms sleeping haha. But then I read some other stories on here... and gosh. I realize I am quite lucky to have him here and engaged, supporting and loving us.
