How long after bloody show/mucous plug coming away did you go into active labour?

Could everyone let some know please, I have been in slow labour for 3 weeks and Saturday night I started bleeding and loosing my mucous plug, I just want my baby out now😣

I lost mine after my waters were broken. 10.5 hours later baby arrived.

Not everyone loses their mucus plug or has a "bloody show" before they go into labor. I've had two children and never experienced either. And I've had friends who lost their mucus plug weeks before labor. Unfortunately, it's not a great indicator of labor approaching.
