I'm 23 and the youngest so my parents always have been super controlling and treated me like a baby my whole life. I've been with my boyfriend for 4 years and I'm 4 months pregnant with our first baby! I couldn't be more excited but my parents are very unsupportive. My mom actually cried from disappointment when I told her and when we found out the sex she cursed and was extremely upset. My sisters weren't happy claiming I'm too young and not married and they tell me nothing but negative things about pregnancy. Recently I bought our baby girl her first outfit and my family's reaction just sent me over the edge. They told me not to buy anything yet because I don't know if the baby will make it. That truly hurt me and I'm at a point where I don't even want to tell them anything else about my pregnancy. Has anyone else dealt with unsupportive family and have any advice?
