Is you SO committed??

I'm a bit sad... Is my #1 TTC, and is my first cycle with meds so I can get pregnant.... Supposedly two days ago my opk gave me a positive... I was really happy and so my husband; but he didn't wanted to have sex (he didn't told me that, but he was really "tired"... And today he told me he is just stressed because he have a lot of work to be done).

Right now I'm really sad because I feel that he is not committed.

Having read this is the first month trying with meds, i assume you have been trying for a little while.

Its easy to forget that they - emotionally - can feel the strain of trying for a baby just as keenly as we do.

I would recommend regardless of how long you have been trying that you talk to him, kindly, and ask him how hes feeling.

Maybe he isnt ready, maybe he needs a break, maybe he just doesnt find it easy to get in the mood with the ovulation talk etc, hopefully if you can get him to open up you can figure out what you need to do.

Maybe its not that he's not committed, maybe its just too much pressure. Try not telling him you wanna mess around because you're ovulating, just try and mess around with him during that time. Its really stressful when TTC.

My SO always 'gets tired' when I'm ovulating but after talking about it, discovered it was the pressure of it. Knowing that now is when I'm ovulating, and if he's not successful (his words) that I'd be depressed when I get my period again. After much discussion, I now don't tell him when I'm ovulating, but just that we try to BD every other night, from a week after my period started, to a week before period is due. I think it's far more difficult when you've been TTC for a while. Have a chat with him.

he goes along happily with whatever unless I tell him he can't drink at all. but he's really supportive. it was actually him who wanted to ttc

Hubby was all in when I said I wanted to try. Couldnt keep him off me. But he was absolutely on board for another baby. Talk to your hubbster and make sure he's being honest about wanting to get pregnant. It will cause alot of confusion if you two arnt on the same page. Good luck!
