How far along should you be before making your first dr appt?

I saw my Dr at 4 weeks and she referred me for my dating scan at 6wks, so my first actual Dr appt would have been a day after the ultrasound.

Call them let them know you're pregnant and would like to set up an appt they'll ask you questions and let you know when they'll like to have you come in.

Make the appointment now and they will make it far out between 8-10w. Most Dr won't see you  till then.

Call right away and they will tell you when to come in. I waited too long to call and had to wait for them to have an opening.

I don't think I had my first appointment until 14 or 16 weeks, but I also didn't know I was pregnant until about 10 weeks or later...

I called by 8 weeks and I had interview with nurse shortly after. But they didn't want me to see doctor until around 11wk.
