help please!!!

Okay so I've been speaking to this guy for quite a while now (3 years!!) and we've gotten serious a couple of times then stopped and started to just be friends again but I've always had feelings for him since I started speaking to him and he's confessed his feelings for me but he said he doesn't want to be in a relationship yet cause he doesn't want to feel tied down but I don't know what to do because I'm crazy about him!! Advice please!!!!!
