When your water broke(or was broken) did your contractions become unbearable?

My water was leaking during the morning, during that time I felt nothing aside from the slow trickle. Early afternoon I went to stand up and that's when it full on broke with the gush, I will say if you're standing up to go pee and this happens go pee. I didn't get to go pee until about an hour after getting to the hospital and my nurses were very rude. Anyway, even after my water broke, being put on pitocin, and being in labor for 24 hrs I still felt nothing. I also wasn't progressing so that may be why I didn't feel anything but I always waited for the horrible pain first time moms are told will come after your water breaks. I call bs on that. Each woman is different and our bodies can do amazing things.

I had about a hour of contractions that just seemed like tightnings. I went to bed to sleep and woke up with them being a bit more painful. As I got out of bed my waters broke.  Then contractions were regular at 3 mins apart. Not unbearable.  I stayed like that (at 4 cms) for 3 hours. Then they got stronger. When your getting closer the contractions come Closer and stronger. It was more or less like this for both of my kids although timings were different. But stages were the same xx

Yes before my water broke my contractions didn't hurt a bit, I was laughing and smiling with my husband. After it broke the immediately started to hurt and within a few minutes I was passing out with each contraction because they were so painful, that's when I decided to get the epidural and I did fine once it kicked in and had my baby 2 hours after my water broke.

My water broke in the morning, probably around 10am but I actually didn't have any contractions until around 4-5pm.

They weren't unbearable until I was almost ready to push. But the doctors broke my water. Both times lol

I have no idea when my water broke (I had a water birth so probably while I was in the tub...), but Inhad back labor so all of it was pretty darn miserable. I think they usually are worse after your water breaks, though.

When they broke my water with my second things INSTANTLY got horrible and I had him within two hours lol

I clicked nor for the simple fact is my first son.. I had mild back pain all morning then went to the toilet at my mums and didn't realise that my waters went on her toilet.. and once I got to the hospital and to land delivery I was 4 cm dialed. . And I had no pain at all.. but I had to have a emergency c section because he was breech.. x

I clicked yes because I immediately went into active labor. They were bearable, delivered naturally without pain meds. But when my water broke it was definitely baby time, she was here within 4 hrs

Mine broke in the bathtub around 12 pm and I didn't know  until 8 that night lmao
