Does the name Leia( ley-ah) remind you of Star Wars?

My husband wants to name our daughter Leia. I think kids will make fun of her and call her Princess Leia. What are your thoughts? When you hear the name do you automatically think Star Wars,

I agree she is a kick ass representation of women. 
Also no matter what you pick kids can and probably will make fun of your name.

My kid gets called Rora bora pora. And no kids don't have to be clever just enough to annoy the kid with the name.

Kids will find anything to make fun of. I'm on the geeky side, but I don't think of the association as a bad thing.  She's a strong female character who saves the day a few times and commands an army.

I know a little girl name Leia but her parents did  name her with Star Wars in mind. I LOVE the name regardless. Some people may make Star Wars comments but honestly the name is a "normal" name just from a high profile movie. 😊 I say use it! My son's name will be Logan and my family calls him Wolverine 😂 I think it's cute.

Yes and she will probably hear that her whole life, but I think it's a beautiful name and Leia was a bad a$$ so it's not like it had negative connotations or anything.
