My hubby and I met through a mutual friend. When I first met him I really liked him and how kind he was, but didn't think much of it until my mom met him and said that he was a keeper. She was right! Here's our cool dates...
Met: 12-?-1996
Dating: 2-2-1997 (I asked him out because he was a chicken.)
Engaged: 12-12-2006
Married: 2-2-2011 (14 years together)

All dates have twos in them. And my first born daughter was born in 2012 and my second daughter was born on 2-12-16.

We will be celebrating 20 years together this February and still very much in love.

I've been with my fiancé for almost 5 years now but he didn't propose to me until this past February. It was our 4 year anniversary and I work for Lush Cosmetics. So he surprised me and didn't tell me where we were going for our anniversary! When we were in the car on the highway, he told me we were driving to PA to have treatments done at the Lush Spa!! The treatments are wicked expensive and amazing and I was so excited!! Then the next night, we were getting ready for a romantic dinner and the restaurant he researched, when we drove by it, it didn't look nearly as nice as it did in the pictures he saw on google and got really upset!! Like angry upset!! I was trying to be the good girlfriend, insisted it wasn't a big deal and we could just eat at the hotel we stayed at! We got through dinner and he was being really quiet. It was a lovely meal but he seemed off. Once we got back to our room I was so excited to take my heels off that I immediately said, "now I'm gonna get in my pjs!" Haha but he stopped me and said "wait before you do that, let's talk for a minute." He sat on the bed and asked me to sit next to him, I held his hand and he was sweating and I could feel his pulse racing through him at a million miles a minute. I should've known right then and there. Now I wish I could know word for word what he told me but I basically blacked out and don't remember his speech!! Next thing I know, he's on one knee, with the most perfect ring in his hand!! It was so simple, perfect and unexpected ☺️ Also engagement night sex, pretty damn perfect 😉 we ordered chocolate cake and champagne to the room and celebrated all night long 😉😍❤️ best night of my life!! 💕xoxo

I remember it being awkward just because although he did word it just fine, people just don't usually say it. Especially weird because we were essentially adults. "Do you wanna be my girlfriend?"
His marriage proposal was perfect though. We already knew we didn't want a ceremony or anything. 
So a week before our 5 year anniversary he said he was taking a few days off work to travel, and I'm like. Wtf? That's our anniversary weekend. Who could you possibly be traveling with? His response, "You, of course, and I was wondering if you'd like to maybe make a pit stop into the courthouse on our way?"
So, we married on our 5th anniversary earlier this year.

He chased me since day one we talked a few times at a local hang out. At the time I was with someone who treated me very badly and when we broke up james (my current BF) gave me time until he tried to get closer to me. Then one day I was freaking out about a bunch of ap homework and he face timed me all day helping until he had football practice (he's on varsity). One night I was stressed and we were facetiming and we both got tired and he said "if you want... I'll fall asleep on FaceTime with you?" My heart started racing and in that moment I fell for him. I said yes I'd love that the next day we did the same over and over again and then we planned to hang out the next day.  The night before we were on FaceTime again and he said so there's this girl I really like I've been talking to her lately she's really beautiful inside and out. But didn't tell me. Then again the next day said it and that night before we were going out he said Amanda that girl is uou. And I told him I liked him back.  We planned to kiss when we saw each other and after he asked me out. Ever since then we've fell In love.

He was in the year above me at my high school and throughout we had always known about eachother but never spoke or anything he was in sixth form and I was in my last year of high school and we started 'talking' we were at this stage for around 3 months before he asked me out, it wasn't the most romantic( he isn't like that) he was walking me home after o had been at my friends and he had been at a party and when we got to my house he asked me to be his girlfriend! I had been waiting for about half a month for him to grow some balls😂 been together for just over a year now and couldnt be happier

I actually told my current boyfriend I had feelings for him a couple days after we met. He came back to church because of me, asked me for my number, and found out that he lives literally 2 seconds away. Since then, we've been inseparable. 15 months strong. 💕
