Could you date a porn actor?

Never thought I'd be in this situation, but the guy I'm seeing has a chance to earn some desperately needed cash by starring in an adult video. We've been dating exclusively for a few months, with the understanding that we don't see long-term futures with each other (I want kids/marriage, he doesn't) so we're just keeping it light & fun.

This is the first time I'm in this kind of casual relationship, so I'm not sure how I'd react in terms of jealousy/disgust if he decides to go through with this. When he asked me how I felt about it, I couldn't decide. On the one hand I think it would be a fun experience for him and I know he could use the money. But on the other I'm worried he'll enjoy being with a more experienced girl more than he enjoys being with me, there's a risk he might catch some nasty sti/std, it might ruin how I feel about him, might ruin porn for me (lol), etc.

What do you guys think? Could you be with someone knowing they had been in the porn industry?
