let down?

When do you start experiencing a let down? My baby will be a week old tomorrow and I don't think I've had any let down. I'm sure she's getting enough because she has dirty diapers. I just hope I'm not doing something wrong!

I've never felt let down with either of my breast fed babies. So I guess it's pretty normal to not feel it

I didn't notice until about 1 1/2 weeks. It can be small, I looked at my little girls onsie and it was wet. I figured it was pee, but the next feed I saw my other breast started to leak a little bit so I have to have a towel on the opposite side I'm nursing on.

Another question... do your breasts need to be emptied each time they feed?

I did really notice a let  down with my first but now I definitely do, I feel like I'm drowning him some times ..

I think I started feeling mine about 2 weeks in, but not everyone feels it.

I only breastfed for 3 weeks but I never felt letdown. I had no clue what other people were talking about. Also, my supply sucked. May have had something to do with it.
