I norm start testing at 12pm then again at 2 and 4 then maybe 8pm if I don't get a positive I do the same the next day so I don't miss the surge xx

For a opk to be positive the test line has to be the same or darker than the control line. X

It depends what the directions say.... Mine specifically say that the lines have to be the exact same shade (though I find it hard to believe they will be exact). I took two yesterday that I thought may be positive (I'll include pictures) but then I splurged and took a clear blue advanced one and it was negative.
