My beautiful boy has arrived. 2.5 weeks early
Kinda new to this and ftm.The most amazing thing iv ever experienced in my life. Little one wasn't due until 30th November but came a little early due to reduced movements and to much amniotic fluid.
I was induced at 8am Sunday morning with the little suppository (think that's wat it's called) to dilate my cervix a little more as I was l ready 1cm dilated. At 2am Monday morning the suppository came out and I was 3cm dilated. The pains started picking up so I got some diamorphine which made me sick so the rude little midwife said I cudnt have anymore pain relief until I ate something (the last thing u want to do when ur in agony but anyway lol). By 5am my waters had broke and still wasn't give any pain relief instead was made to take a shower even though I could barely stand. I then got moved into delivery suit and at 12 oclock I was 7cm dilated and begging them for some pain medication. Eventually gt the gas and air but made me feel sick and ended up getting the epidural. Because I was vomiting constantly during labour I became quite dehydrated and needed a fluid iv drip. I labour pretty well and quickly after that and by 2.45 I was fully dilated. Midwife made me do a couple of practice pushes and then at 2.56 it was time to push. Little one got a bit distressed so I needed and episiotomy but 7 mins later he was out and screaming like a champion. Ended up with a pretty bad tear also but it was an experience il never forget or change and a pain that is well and truly worth while.
7lb exactly 47cm long. Baby has no name yet as can't decide but he's perfect.
