Coffee and pregnancy?

What's everyone's take on drinking coffee while pregnant? I went from. A couple cups  a day. Now I'm not drinking it at all....

I drink one cup a day. 200mg of caffeine a day is allowed in pregnancy and a tall latte at Starbucks only has 75mg of caffeine so that helps put it into perspective. I've drank coffee throughout all 3 of my pregnancies and my kids have all been fine.

I switched to from regular to half caf- one 12 oz cup a day. Baby is strong and healthy, and I'm not going crazy 😭 but ultimately you gotta do that feel right to you! If you have anxiety about coffee, leave it out. Your body knows best ❤️❤️

Don't drink decaf. There's a lot more chemicals and there's still caffeine.

I never decreased my coffee intake 1-3 cups a day, and my children are fine.

Ideally they say no more than 2 cups a day.

I like it lol. I try to limit myself to one cup a day at the most. It helps me to use the bathroom & sometimes with headaches

I was a pretty heavy coffee drinker and I thought I would be able to give it up during pregnancy, LOL, but the thought is now too depressing. So I cut back to one cup a day (8oz of home brewed coffee) and once in a while if I really space them out I have 2 cups (like one at 7 am and one at 2 pm kind of thing). Usually just one though. I don't like soda or any other caffeinated beverage so I can justify having just a small amount of coffee to keep my sanity LOL

I normally drink 2 k cups per day, when I was pregnant I only drank one. They say upto 200mg a day while pregnant has no effects on the baby. I wouldn't be able to survive without coffee! ☕️

You can have 200 mg of caffeine which is equivalent to 2 espresso shots.
I rarely had any in the 1st trimester. Now most day I brew one shot of espresso and make a very milky latte. Some days if I'm craving a more concentrated coffee, I'd either make a cappuccino with one shot or I'll make a latte with one caffeinated shot and the other one decaf.

I gave up coffee, but still might have half a cup or a few sips of my husbands coffee every couple of weeks. I'm delivering at a Japanese birthing center and they said no coffee, green tea, or herbal tea. Just trying to do what they say.
