Name alliteration
I have a naming dilemma...
My last name through marriage has 2 syllables with repeating L's (L***l***).
It also just so happens that the only name my husband and I have been able to agree on for a girl is Layla.
I have no problem with that as it stands, but my challenge is picking a middle name. My family has a strong tradition of using family middle names but they all also start with L! My husband's family isn't close and there aren't really any potential names on that side we like.
My mom reminded me that if her middle name is Louise she would be a 4th generation with that name. (No pressure!) I'm just afraid Layla Louise L***l*** has too many L's.
My husband and I really like Layla Belle, but it doesn't fit the family tradition and I really like the idea of continuing that. We were also considering Layla Hazel as that's a family name too. Idk, thoughts? Does too many L's matter that much? Am I worrying too much about family tradition?
