Can gender ultrasound be wrong??

My husband and I already have a little girl and really wanted a little boy to have our pair. I will love our baby no matter what, but we have been buying a lot of boy stuff already and would be a little disappointed if it was another girl...do you think it looks like a boy for sure? 19 weeks when we got this ultrasound pic.

The reason im scared is because they told a friend of mine that she was having a boy and later at her second ultrasound it was a girl. I was confused why this happened and she said it was because the umbilical cord was around her legs and got mistaken for a penis 😳

An ultrasound can always be wrong even if done late in the pregnancy. I've known a few women who were told they are having girls every single time they went for an ultrasound and guess what? Both gave birth to a baby boy

I work in a private day nursery and a parent was told she was having a girl the whole pregnancy, baby came out a boy. Also, my sonographer told me their friend was told it was a boy and it turned out to be a girl.

I was told at an elective ultrasound at 19 weeks we were having a boy. At my final ultrasound at 33 weeks we found out it was a girl. So much money wasted on boy stuff. My husband was heartbroken. And I was pretty pissed off that the ultrasound place was just like eh whatever.

19 weeks is pretty accurate. My friend was told the wrong gender but it was 15/16 weeks and she never asked for confirmation. If you want to me super sure go back in a couple weeks, you may have to pay out of pocket but some places will do it for cheap if just for gender confirmation.
