Flying with one month old

One of my good friends is getting married overseas in August 2017. She's sent us the invite but I'm not sure how to rsvp as we've just found out we're pregnant and the baby will only be a month old at that point. Has anyone travelled overseas with a one month old before? The flight will be less than 2 hours but not sure if it's safe for the baby and how I will feel a month after giving birth. Does anyone have any advice? Don't want to wait too long to respond and would love to be there but just not sure if it's safe and/ or practical to go.
