My water ruptured on Wednesday November 9th but I didn't know I did until Friday November 11th when I started to experience small gushes of leaky amniotic fluid through out the day. I called my ob-gyn and they scheduled an appointment that same day and that afternoon they checked to make sure the fluid I was leaking was amniotic. We went that afternoon to the legit and delivery to be monitored that same evening I had my last baby shower. After being at the hospital for a couple hours the dr. Made the final call to keep me and reassured me that I will have the baby that weekend. The next day I was given a medicine to Austen my cervix and pitocin to induce me but after a full day it didn't work my cervix was not soft and I wasn't contracting enough.

That Saturday going into Sunday I took another medication to soften my cervix and it did with the pitocin but again I was not dialated. The doctor wanted to put a catheter that would put pressure on my baby to start the labor process but knowing my body it was too sensitive. I decided to pursue a C Section. Our little girl joined us on Nov 13 @ 4:07pm. Best day ever 🙂
