Over Bearing Mother-In-Laws

My husband and I are first time parents and his mother wants to be overly involved in everything. From being in the delivery room (I only want my husband and Dr.'s, I'm not a big fan of crowded rooms) and she wants to stay in our house from the time we get to come home with our son to a couple weeks after (She doesn't work). Now I get that she's excited, since this is her first grand baby, but I feel like she is trying to take away from my husband and I from getting to bond with our son. Are any other moms going through something similar?
