Hello! I'm on the birth control pill, Sprintec, and my periods are always on time and very light. I started my period just a few days ago on the 13th of November and it was the most painful cramps I've felt in a long time since I started my birth control almost a year ago and the bleeding has been a "crime scene" for the past 5 days. Usually on the 5th day I'm super light with occasional heavy spotting, so I don't understand why I'm so heavy and there are a lot of thick string mucus blood clots whenever I use the bathroom. The only thing I can possibly think of that maybe could have impacted anything was that I had protected sex the day I started. Any ideas? Please and thank you!
