Bf never answers calls when he's 'out with friends'. Is he cheating? Should I leave?

He literally ignores me. Cutts the call off and then turns his phone off so I can't call anymore..

Are you purposely calling him, knowing that he is out. If I'm out in a social setting, I'll cut off who ever is calling me. I simply say " I'm out I'll give you a call later ". I feel it's so rude to be on the phone while your out with others. If my husband would call me, knowing that I'm out, just to. I'd be irritated. He can text me, but he better not get mad I don't text back right away.

Umm wow all those who voted cheating you don't even know him... does he have a history of cheating??? He's with his friends he probly don't want to be on the phone that's rude...my SO doesn't answer the phone when he goes to his friends I know for a fact he's not cheating he is having fun with his friends .... i also don't answer the phone if I'm out with my friendsaid if it's an emergency then he will text me to call him same for me ...and neither of us are cheating

It depends on the guy. If you think he's cheating, he probably is. Trust your instincts.

My long term ex used to do this. He was absolutely 100% cheating on me, habitually, for a long time. I just didn't want to be the nagging girlfriend and be up his ass all the time. I trusted him. I ignored all the red flags...

Not necessarily, my phone is ALWAYS on do not disturb (doesn't even ring, just gives them a busy message) and I'm not cheating on anyone, in fact I'm pretty single, I'd just rather text than call, it's so much more convenient.

From my own personal experience, I had an ex who did the same exact thing. His phone was always turned off or he would ignore my calls. I would have to call his friends phones to attempt to get a hold of him and then they would just make an excuse up for him or ignore my calls as well (I was 15 and crazy at the time lol..). He was 100% cheating on me. This might not be the case for you, but regardless, his behaviors are extremely disrespectful and not good for a healthy relationship. I would dump him and move on.

It's really hard to say from such little information. I'd say it's 50/50. Just being honest. We don't know you or your significant other personally so there's no way we could tell you. I wouldn't assume he's cheating unless there are other clues/things that make you question. My fiancé now could go out and turn his cell phone off and I'd have absolutely no doubt in my mind that he was being faithful. My ex however, would do the same, and was indeed cheating. It's just too hard to say.

If I was out I'd just respond with a text or two. But if I didn't answer and you just called back I'd block the number so you couldn't call back. It wouldn't be that I was doing anything wrong it would just be I was trying to not be rude to whoever I was out with.

I mean turning off the phone is a little much and it's kinda rude to you. But if he needs guy time let him have it, you don't have to be happy about it but give him some space before you suffocate him. Maybe when he goes out with his friends find something or hang out with your friends to occupy your time. Talk, get on equal ground, maybe ask him to shoot you a text every once in a while, compromise. And I don't mean give him attitude about it, because that's not talking, sit down and calmly talk like adults.
If you can't talk and compromise there's no point in a relationship.
