Engorged maybe? Help.

Question

I've been pumping for 6 weeks. My supply has started slowly decreasing for some reason. But the past 3 days I feel almost engorged when I wake up and again around 3am. However when I pump I'm lucky to get 2oz. But I still feel so full. What's going on? (Ftm)

Massage your breasts and put hot warm compresses on them while you pump or before you pump. If there's a blockage it will help unblock it and help the milk come out and your breasts feel better

Before your pump, massage the hard parts of your breast to try and break it up.  As you pump, try a stiff massage starting above any lumps or hard spots and slide down towards the nipple like you are trying to force out the milk. Pumps aren't as efficient at expessing milk as your baby, so this is just good to do in general (I exclusively pumped for 5 months for my first).

Sounds like a clogged duct to me. If it is, pump as much as possible and massage. It'll clear up on its own over time!
