Am I in the 3rd trimester yet?

I just hit 27 weeks and some resources say I'm in my 3rd but some say next week.

I've always been told that the 3rd trimester starts at 28 weeks.

I think most doctors say 28 weeks because according to ACOG, "term" (including early term, full term, and late term but all normal and healthy) goes to 42 weeks. Then you divide 42 by 3
