why does sex hurt?!

Hi ladies! Is it normal for sex to hurt after a csection? I had my 2nd csection on 9/30 and I don't remember it hurting after my first. My hubby and I have tried twice since my 6 week doc check up. She gave us the okay, so I'm wondering why it hurts?? Should I be concerned?

Yeah that's normal for us it took a lottt of foreplay and patience on his end

Yup it hurt both times we've done it. I think everything just gets kind of swollen, section or not. Use lots of lube! It should get better with time!

It hurt until I got pregnant again. Lol

Dryness is common cause of the hormones postpartum...worse if you're breastfeeding I think. Astroglide was recommended to me but I haven't tried it yet.

We had c-section the same day and I had a boy, yup sex did hurt when we tried again and it was also my 2nd c-section. Hanging in there it will get better
