I quit breastfeeding at 5 months but was on BC. After 6 months on bc I quit that too and started my period. However everyone is different. My mom never breastfed and within a week she started her period.

Tbh there are a lot of people that don't start their periods again until they stop breastfeeding. Don't worry about it :)
