Dr. Felt babies head??

So I had an appointment yesterday, I was 33 weeks & 5 days. My Dr. Checked me as she has done since 30 weeks... This time she told me I wasn't dilated but she could feel baby's head... Guess im confused on how she could feel the head if I'm not dilated.
