I spotted with my first daughter at around 7 weeks for a few days. With my second daughter, I spotted on and off for four weeks from 4 to 8 weeks pregnant. Some of the bleeding was even bright red and a little heavy. My second daughter is now a healthy 9 month old. What's ironic is that I did not bleed at all with my second pregnancy which ended in miscarriage. I had no clue the pregnancy was no longer viable until I went in for my 12 week check up. No bleeding or cramping at all. I was shocked and I never expected there was I longer a baby.

I had spotting for the first 3 months with my first pregnancy and she was ok. But defo inform a doctor or midwife about it x

My dr told me if you have any spotting at all, to make an appointment and go in. I had super light brown spots at 7 weeks and the ultrasound showed a subchorionic hematoma.

It's usually nothing to worry about but it's always important to get checked out.

I'm almost 10 weeks. Been spotting red since 6 weeks. Baby is growing and moving around according to plan so everything is fine. Just likes beating up on mommy I guess lol.

Almost 8 weeks here, I've had brown spotting on and off for two weeks. At my ultrasound on Tuesday, the tech found a sub chorionic hemorrhage... aka a pocket of blood in your uterus. It was really small and the doctor said it would heal by itself soon. He scheduled me for another US at 10 weeks just to make sure it does heal but he doesn't think there will be any problem with the baby. The little bean measured right on target and had a healthy heart rate.

So there are lots of reasons for spotting during pregnancy that don't involve miscarriage 🙂

I haven't had any yet (I'm 4 weeks 2 days) but my cousin had quite a bit and has a healthy baby girl.
