Appendicitis during pregnancy?

Anyone ever had appendicitis while pregnant? What was your symptoms? Did you go to the doctor first or straight to hospital?

Answer

I've had a excruciating pain in my abdomen and in my back both on the right side. But it comes and goes all throughout the day and night. I had my gallbladder removed in September at 26 weeks pregnant. I had bloodwork done to rule out a retaining stone but I have been nauseous and had diarrhea on top of the pain. I went to my OB Tuesday and she said it couldn't be kidney stones because I don't have blood in my urine and said I think it's just muscle spasms and threw me on flexiril (muscle relaxer). I've taken it every night since then and all it does is makes me sleepy but I still wake up with excruciating pain throughout the night after taking that. I feel there's something else going on!

I haven't but I'd go straight to the hospital if I were suffering symptoms       X
