vagina taste

So my boyfriend told me that when I get really wet & he eats me out that my vagina doesn't really taste good. I have a good diet & I drink lots of water & I don't use any soaps or anything to upset the pH balance. Is it just me? He said it tastes kinda sour & sometimes like a penny. It's kinda embarrassing when he tells me this but he still always eats me out...
