Anyone else scared they won't know they're in labor?

This is my first pregnancy and as of today I'm 37 weeks and 1 day. As my due date is getting closer I'm starting to worry that I will somehow miss going into labor and that I won't have enough time to drive to the hospital. I haven't had any Braxton hicks contractions (yet) my baby boy also hasn't lowered himself yet. The only pains I have is an achy feeling in my lower back (I have the same feeling when I have my period) and my upper inner thigh area hurts (pulling sensation) last week at my check up my OB said that I'm not dialated yet. Anyways is anyone else afraid that they won't know they are in labor? Because I'm getting really stressed out thinking I won't even know when I have contractions. Any FTM feel the same?

We have the same due date we are the same with how far along and I'm the same way I get these Paine thinking I wonder if this is it but it dies down or goes away so I'm like I guess not this is also my first

Me every minute of every day and for the past week more than ever. My son was born 15 years ago and I knew because my water broke. No prior symptoms at all before that, even had my 39 week appointment that morning and we discussed being induced a week later because I was not dialated at all, not effaced, not BH, no contractions, nothing..... however this little ninja princess has been all over the place. I've been having contractions for a week now, not BH dr confirmed. My discharge has severely increased but I just hit 36 weeks today so dr won't do a pelvic. I'm basically ignoring my contractions because my dr doesn't seem concerned about them when I went in on Wednesday so holding out for another symptom...... I hope I don't end up having this baby in my bed.....

Same here FTM as well I'm 38+2 I've been getting cramps/contractions all day off and on but I keep brushing them off because when people explain going into labor I think like the worse kind of pain out there so these cramps I've been getting I just keep telling myself if there tolerable your fine . I have 13 days left and I'm already 2 cm dilated. Now it's the wsitkng game

You'll know, ladies!! I remember that feeling, but you'll know...I promise. You'll feel tons of pressure, EXTREMELY uncomfortable contractions and cramping down your legs and lower back, and most likely a lot of discharge and some blood. You'll feel like you want to crawl out of your skin. Enjoy your time at home and only having the feeling of mild discomfort. It won't be long now!

Definitely afraid. I'm almost 35 weeks. Haven't had any BH that I'm aware of. Aches and pains everywhere though. I generally have a super low pain tolerance though so hopefully I'll know when it's happening

Ill tell you my story.. My first pregnancy my water broke at the middle of night I wasn't having any pain or contractions so I taught I had pee my self,, 
Through the day I was doing my usual stuff with a pad I call my Dr. Office to check if this was normal @ 2 went in at around 330 turns out my water had broke and blood pressure had elevated ,
I was sent into labor and del, 
I was so close to have a c section bc i was on labor so long and no advance and didnt knew plus I was having contactions and wasnt feeling them till I was about 3cm,

Basically if you see or feel different and its outside the usual call or go see a professional I put my baby in high  risk of infection Bc I didnt bother to check at the beginning I was in labor for about. 30 hrs

🙋🏻 me! I have Braxton Hicks regularly, every few days or so, but am worried I'm not gonna read into the real thing and just assume they're more BH contractions and try to sleep/nap through them with a heating pad like I do now. 🙈
