Should I cut my hair?

I'm wearing a synthetic wig, so my natural hair isn't getting cut. I didn't take any pictures of it right now but the ends have gotten super matted and dry & I don't want to put heat on it if I don't have to.
This is what it looks like longer.

And this is what it would look like shorter.

Cut the damaged ends off get a trim so just the damaged ends are off and your hair will still be longer than cutting a bunch off if your afraid of cutting it off get a trim

If it's only the ends that are damaged, I'd just cut those off. You look cute either way!
