Strip membranes?

Will you let your Dr strip your membranes? I have GD. We have not decided if we will induce early yet because baby is still measuring ok and my numbers are in a good range, but Dr did mention she won't let me go past my due date.
At my last appointment (35w5d) I was 1 cm dilated, which she was happy about. She said in two weeks we will re evaluate and we can talk about stripping my membranes or what our plan will be. What are your experiences/thoughts?

No I won't. My body knows what to do on its own. Doctors need to stop scaring women and telling them their babies will get too big. That's ridiculous

No, I won't. I'm not in a rush and baby can use the extra time unless it goes way past time. Due dates are just an estimate so I'd have to get past my due date before I'd consider it.

I had mine stripped with my oldest daughter at 38 weeks it did no good I was induced at 40 weeks

I will but only if I make it to the appt I have at 40+4.

I have tried this before to keep from being induced and it didn't work to bring about labor. If it comes to being induced again I may try it to keep from going through that again. Other wise he comes when he is ready. I won't rush him unless medically needed.
