Pregnancy test defect ?

Im about 7 weeks postpartum and my period isn't due until November 27 I believe.. I took this test yesterday (November 20) .. could this faint vertical line be an error or possibly a defective pregnancy test. The brand is Rite Aid.. has anyone ever had this issue with this brand or a pregnancy test before .. I used this pregnancy test the back in February and never had an issue.

This was my test. It's definitely a positive but it was after 10 mins. I was not pregnant

I have an 8 month old son and haven't had a period. I took one of those tests because I was worried about pregnancy, the same brand from rite aid, and after about 5 mins both the tests were positive. And I was NOT pregnant. I'd get another test to be sure. Do not trust those tests!

There is no defect because the control room is very visible. It looks like a faint positive.

That looks like a dye run. The blue dye tests are notorious for them. I'd go get a pink dye test and try again. Fingers crossed!
