is period breath a thing?

My husband tells me before I get my period I have period breath. And he is usually right that I'm about to get AF which he can tell from my breath 😮 I asked him to describe the smell and he said it's like burnt out batteries, not pungent or stale but more like a chemical smell. Is this normal? Is period breath a thing? Anyone know about this or experience it????
