Birth Control & sex life!

I started taking the depo shot back in June. Ever since I took my first shot my sex drive has disappeared! I used to be in the mood all the time but ever since my first shot I could care less whether or not we have sex. It's putting strain on our relationship because we hardly have sex anymore, and I don't want him to leave me because we don't have sex... has anyone else had this problem!?
