TMI: mucus plug or discharge?

I'm 37 weeks 3 days pregnant, had my cervix check yesterday and I was 1 1/2 CM dilated and 60% thinned. My doctor said she thinks I'll go into labor before or on my due date which is December 12th. I've been having contractions, and lower back pain today. I just went to the bathroom and wiped and it was very thick almost jelly like, I've never seen this before. I've had discharge through out but never like this, so I'm wondering if it's possible this is my mucus plug or part of it at least? Again TMI picture, but just want to know what you ladies think..
