When do you start buying things for your baby?

When does everyone start buying there baby things during pregnancy? As in a pram, clothes, cots, etc, curious

I waited until I knew the gender just cause most everything is gender based these days.

My husband and I wanted to wait until we knew the gender (Dec. 13) but we found a great black Friday deal on a crib and mattress so we went out and took advantage of that. We ended up with a $200 crib for $105 and a $120 mattress for $30. We are pretty happy with our purchases!

I knew there was a lot of stuff I'd want to buy so I held off as long as I could so I could enjoy it LOL. But I'm waiting to buy the majority of things until I see what I get at my baby shower

We started at 9/10 weeks, everything is so damn expensive these days. Everytime there was a sale on an item we needed we bought it! Like hell was I waiting until the last minute for everything.

I got little things like sock, mittens, and onsies. But I waited till my shower at 35 weeks and I'm officially done with everything at 37 weeks I'm just waiting for my little girl. But you can probably get the crib and big furniture.

I've gotten a few onesies now at 30 weeks. We're waiting to see what we get from the shower and THEN buying what we don't get.
