Both 25 years old, What's a good amt of time being married, before starting to TTC?

Both of us are 25 years old, and I've been wanting kids forever, and want to start next cycle but he's not ready yet. I'm waiting out of respect for him.

-met January 2015
-engaged December 2015
-married April 2016

You have to be on the same page.  There is no 'right amount of time'
My husband and I started trying right away but we had been together for 4.5 years by the time we got married and were in our 30s so were financially and emotionally ready for that step (which ended up taking 4 years so if you aren't on the same page it could be hard on your relationship should you have difficulties)

For me and my husband a year into our marriage was the perfect time to start trying, we are both 28.

No one can really tell you when its right, you just have to talk to your husband and decide what works best for your family :)

I'd say roughly a year. It gives you time to just be you, being married. We weren't trying when we got pregnant and spent half of our first year getting ready for a baby. We didn't really do much to celebrate our one year anniversary because at that point I was 7 1/2 months pregnant. We still did dinner but didn't really celebrate the way we had wanted to. Whenever you both feel ready though it when you should start. Just account for how your first year will go if you do conceive quickly.

I met my husband October of 2012, married December 2012, miscarried December 2012 then conceived again in February of 2013 had our first son November 2013 and now 7 weeks away from having our second son.

We waited 7 years because we wanted to have fun...and because we were poor. Ha. It just all depends on when you want it.

When you both feel ready :) there's never a "right time" emotionally or financially... it's a huge change but what I'm finding is that having 9 months to prepare does help you feel more ready.

We got pregnant April 2015. Engaged June 2015 and married August 2015.  We knew about the engagement and wedding before the baby but sped our plans up when we found out we were pregnant.  We are now pregnant with our second.

My husband & I got married when we were both 25 as well! We are now both 32 & I'm pregnant with our first (started trying this year, so yes, we waited this long on purpose). I really couldn't be happier that we got to spend that time growing as a couple, traveling, etc.
