Should I be upset with my midwife?

Erin

I'm a FTM and at my first scan at 9 weeks my midwife told me I had a little bit of bleeding in my uterus but it's nothing to worry about. One month or so later I ended up going to the ER because I was actually bleeding with clots. They told me I have a subchorinonic hemorrage which is common but I need to go on bed rest, no heavy lifting and no intercourse. When I told my midwife she said she knew about it the whole time.

I'm a little upset that for the last month I should have been on bed rest and not having sex because if the hemorrage grows it can lead to a miscarriage. My SO thinks I should switch midwives. Are we wrong to be upset? She's very nice but it's concerns me that she didn't tell me.
