when did y'all announce pregnancy?

I'm really hoping for a Christmas announcment but I will only be 10 weeks. I know they say you should wait until 12 weeks but when did everyone announce theirs? I'm curious on if anyone announce early and what made them decide not to wait the 12 weeks

Our immediate family knew not too long after we found out (6-8weeks), but we didn't make an official announcement until about 13 weeks.

I announced at 12 and even then I was so anxious about something happening and having to "untell". Next time I'll wait longer. But you should do what's right for you - there's no right or wrong time!

We announced at 8 weeks, after our first doctor appointment to confirm everything.

Everyone knew we were trying and we didn't want to keep it a secret.

I'm 21 weeks along now and happy I've had support the entire time.

Only one of my family members gave me crap for announcing it so early, but I made the decision to and it made ME happy.

So I say, go for it. There's a lot of choices that everyone has different opinions on, but at the end of the day it's your pregnancy so do what you want.

I announced it yesterday! I'm 9 ina half weeks. My husband and I were gonna wait until Christmas but had a second ultrasound on the 17th and everything was looking great so decided to tell our families the news sooner!

I announced on Facebook before the hpt was even dry lol. Seriously, tell when YOU want to tell. You don't HAVE to wait until 12 weeks. And there's no garuntee that if you wait that something wont go wrong down the track...
